I have had the EEZTire (TPMS) tire pressure monitoring system on my cars and trucks for years. When driving a large Class A and pulling a vehicle, I can’t tell you the peace of mind this brings.
There is never a good time for a flat or under-inflated tire when you are driving on the road. Under-inflated tires are not fuel-efficient, can reduce tire durability and tread life, and could cause flats and result in serious car accidents.
I’ve been very happy with EEZTire tire pressure monitoring system, it not only monitors my tire pressure but also the temperature. The software allows for alarms to be set for low and high pressure along with the temperature. The setup was very simple and only took a few minutes. See our post on Tire Safety for all of our recommended tire products.
Even though a TPMS can deliver accurate alerts when properly maintained, it’s not a replacement for manual air pressure checks and routine tire maintenance.
Although my configuration may not have needed a repeater, I installed the signal repeater in the bedroom closet. With my tow vehicle 50 feet behind me, this makes me feel better to have the repeater.
